Per Wikipedia honest is defined as: is a facet of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, straightforwardness, including straightforwardness of conduct, along with the absence of lying, cheating, theft, etc. Honesty also involves being trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere.
Honesty is the foundation of how Shaw Auto Carriers conducts business. We conduct ourselves with honesty during every transaction for both the customer and the carrier. You will note above the word fair is cited, additionally we use the word fair on our business card. “We provide honest, reliable and professional service at a fair price.”
What do we mean by fair?
We are fair in our pricing to both the customer and the carrier. Unfortunately, for the customer being fair can mean we don’t always provide the lowest price. Fair pricing to the customer means providing an honest, no BS estimate of the amount it will take to move your vehicle in a timely manner through a licensed and insured carrier.

What does fair mean to the carrier?
This goes back to an earlier statement “to move your vehicle in a timely manner through a licensed and insured carrier.” We price our quotes so the carrier can cover their costs and make a few dollars. For the carriers this means we don’t provide the highest profit margin. We don’t soak the customer. We quote a price that allows the carrier to cover expense, pay for their time and make some profit.
